• 3-Year Limited Corrosion Failure Warranty. A MerCruiser-exclusive feature on all standard production gas and diesel sterndrive and inboard products, All aluminum components are cast with our exclusive XK-360 alloy, which contains very little copper for maximum corrosion resistance. Other corrosion-susceptible parts are built from the highest-grade stainless steel. As part of a demanding 14-step process, each coat of paint is baked on for maximum adhesion, while our exclusive Electro Deposition Priming ensures uniform, complete coverage. Electrostatically applied acrylic powder paint finishes the job.
• Mercathode® protection neutralizes corrosive galvanic electrical currents that can destroy metal components. A MerCruiser-exclusive feature standard on all Bravo™ drives and available as a kit for the Alpha drive.
